Florida Collegiate High School focuses on collegiate academic programs to prepare students for academic success and leadership roles throughout their lives. Our innovative academic model offers two distinct pathways for advanced education: Students at our institution can choose between an Early College Program and a Dual Enrollment Program. Students who take advantage of these options have outstanding chances to accumulate college credit while achieving academic excellence and obtaining a competitive advantage for their future endeavors.
Early College Program: Dual Credentials
The Early College Program offers a fully accelerated academic pathway for students who want to maximize their educational achievements. In collaboration with a regionally accredited university, students can enroll in college-level courses starting in 10th grade. Upon graduation, participants of this intensive program earn both their high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited institution.
The Early College Program allows students to experience college life while still providing them with high school support mechanisms. Students save both time and money on their higher education journey because they complete two college years by graduation. The program works best for motivated students who want academic challenges and aim to succeed in competitive universities and professional careers.
Dual Enrollment Program: College Credit with Flexibility
Through the Dual Enrollment Program, students obtain college credits during their high school graduation process. Students in this program can select various college-level classes that support their academic interests and future career plans. The Dual Enrollment Program differs from the Early College Program in that it does not lead to an Associate of Arts degree but lets students earn credits that they can apply toward a degree at a regionally accredited college or university.
The dual Enrollment Program is ideal for students who want to take college-level classes without taking on the requirements of an Associate degree. Students experience higher education rigor and build critical thinking skills while earning post-secondary credits during their high school education.
Rigorous Academics with Christian Distinctives
The Early College and Dual Enrollment programs function based on academic excellence principles alongside Christian faith values. The biblical perspective used in teaching every course promotes student growth in spiritual understanding and intellectual development. Students learn to approach their studies and careers with integrity and purpose by integrating a Christ-centered worldview into their education.
