Program Overview

Florida Collegiate High School offers a flexible, college-preparatory, in-person and live virtual program for students in grades 8–12, combining rigorous academics, leadership development, and a distinctly Christian environment.


The in-person classes meet at Florida Collegiate High School (HEIP) 4726 FL-54, New Port Richey, FL 34652. Students in the virtual courses attend classes through weekly video conferencing.

Weekly Schedule at FLCHS

Monday–Thursday (Academic Days)

  • 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Students attend scheduled classes on campus.
  • Each class meets twice per week for 1 hour and 15 minutes:
    • Monday/Wednesday or
    • Tuesday/Thursday

Friday (Leadership & Service Day)

  • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Counts as a credit-bearing high school course
  • Focuses on leadership development and service projects
  • Fridays are scheduled throughout the year and do not meet every week.

Academic Structure

High School Courses (FLCHS)

  • For grades 8–12
  • Offered as:
    • A complete program, or
    • À la carte enrollment

Dual Enrollment (SEU)

  • Primarily for grades 11–12
  • Courses completed online through Southeastern University (SEU)

On-Campus Attendance for Dual Enrollment Students:

  • Students taking only SEU courses may attend campus daily for structure and support.
  • Students taking both SEU and FLCHS classes attend on scheduled class days.

Spiritual Life

  • Monthly Chapel (Thursdays)
  • Staff-led Bible Studies (alternate Thursdays)
  • Peer-led Bible Studies (Tuesdays)
  • Bible courses are included and required in the full program

Foundational Christian Curriculum

All of our curriculum is derived from a Christian worldview. We believe that all truth is God’s truth, and thus all subjects have a Christian dimension. We exist to help you and the church in developing Christian foundational knowledge. Our Christian faith courses have three distinctives. First, they start with the foundations of the faith. Then, they teach students how to communicate and defend their faith. Finally, they teach students how to live their faith.

Leadership Development

All that we do is committed to developing a strong character and faith. Education is a lifelong process. We offer structured leadership courses and activities. These build your students’ leadership principles, code of ethics, and public speaking skills. Richly varied hands-on service projects, mentoring, and service learning opportunities will help students confidently engage with the world. They will become an emerging leader with integrity. They will have the grit to make a difference and stand for what is right. We develop leaders with strong character and unwavering faith.

Tutoring

Collegiate education can be a difficult adjustment. Our instructors are not only in the classroom, but they are also in the study halls. They want to help your student prepare for academic success. At FLCHS, we want to equip your students with the educational strategies they need for success. Our instructors conduct one-on-one sessions. They also hold small group sessions. These sessions help your student gain the knowledge necessary for success.
